Tassa in till Emmas is a dog grooming salon and shop owned and run by Emma, a certified dog groomer since autumn 2022. Services include bathing, drying, cutting, and trimming dogs based on the requested hairstyle. Emma also cuts nails on dogs and cats. The salon is located on a small farm outside Växjö. She also owns a Miniature American Shepherd named Lilja, along with a cat, two horses, and some rabbits and hens. Emma aims to provide a positive and safe experience for pets, using positive handling techniques. Booking includes information on the breed, desired treatment, age, and name of the dog and its owner. If you book via Facebook or Instagram, she'll need your phone number. Cancellation is required at least 24 hours before the appointment. Unattended appointments will be charged the full amount. Dogs must be fully groomed before the visit. Owners are not allowed during the grooming session, except for nail trimming and puppy visits. Pictures can be shared on social media unless specified otherwise by the owner. The groomer has the right to stop the appointment if necessary for the dog's health. Muzzles may be used if needed. When trimming/plucking, the dog should not have bathed within 2 weeks, which complicates the work. Dogs should be in good health. Dog's fur should be free from mats; matting is handled to a certain extent. The dog will be shaved, and the owner will be notified before this is done. There is a weekend fee for haircuts.
