Sesam Medical

SESAM (Society in Europe for Simulation applied to medicine) is a healthcare simulation organization designed to encourage and support the use of simulation in healthcare for the purpose of training and research. It is not tied to any medical or other specialties and includes members with a broad and varied background in healthcare and medical education. All members share an interest and passion for medical simulation, and together they form a dynamic clinical simulation community filled with international key players in medical simulation across Europe. SESAM's mission is to improve healthcare through healthcare simulation, aiming to enable safe, patient-centered care delivered by a competent and secure healthcare workforce in a well-functioning healthcare system. SESAM holds annual meetings and conferences, bringing together regional and global experts from both academia and leading vendors. The society has five strategic goals focusing on sustainability, community, knowledge, access, and quality.
