IDC West Sweden AB is a regional development company for the people in Skaraborg's manufacturing industry. Their mission is to strengthen the competitiveness and profitability of Skaraborg's manufacturing industrial companies. They are owned by approximately 160 manufacturing companies in Skaraborg. IDC is part of IUC Sverige, a national resource for increased competitiveness in Swedish industry, and work in a national network. IDC offers coaching, analysis, improvement measures, and long-term learning and drives various publicly funded development projects. They offer support to manufacturing companies for a sustainable industrial development. They are driven without their own profit interest – all potential profit is reinvested in the business to benefit their industry.
