GOLIAT develops and manufactures customized machines for various industries, including the steel industry, copper industry, sawmills/planing mills, and other industries. They mostly produce machines for different types of strapping, but also machines for covering goods with packaging plastic. The goods that are strapped in the machines can be anything from large to small spools, raw copper, sheet metal, rod/pipe, timber packages, boards/lists, bundles, building materials, food, etc. The dimensions of the goods that are strapped or covered with plastic can range from a few meters in width down to a few decimeters and can be placed on or without a pallet. The weight of the goods can vary from about 1 kg up to about 30 tons. Straps can range from steel straps B=32 mm, PET straps B=9-19 mm, down to PP straps B=9-16 mm. They also offer a semiautomatic strapping station. They are a small organization with short decision-making paths, with long experience and great knowledge of developing and constructing machines. They also have extensive experience in one-off manufacturing of machines, as does their mechanical workshop.
